| Compressed air systems for commercial vehicles have to be protected against internal corrosion-and also against freezing under extreme climatic conditions-so as to maintain their functional reliability. The air dryer extracts the humidity contained in the ambient air from the compressed air; oil and impurities are separated via a filter integrated in the filter cartridge. To better protect the brake system from impurities, MAHLE has developed an air dryer with additional HC adsorption. Through the use of efficient adsorption materials, MAHLE air dryers provide reliable protection against disturbances and premature wear of the entire compressed air system. |
