Cosworth Technology win 2004 Northamptonshire Business Environment Awards

  • Company with 50-250 employees: CT Wellingborough. For waste segregation, recycling 86% total waste, 45% reduction of energy consumption and being ISO 14001 & EMAS accredited.
  • Company with 250+ employees: CT Northampton. For waste segregation, 49% reduction of waste going to landfill, 33% reduction in lighting use and being ISO 14001 & EMAS accredited.
  • Overall Awards Winner: CT Wellingborough. For best overall environmental achievements and improvements and a commitment to positive and lasting environmental improvements to business and local environment.

New manufacturing site - "Wendel 4" at Wellingborough - officially opened by John Patterson, Chief Executive, J C Bamford Excavators Ltd, in the presence of His Worship the Mayor of Wellingborough, Councillor John Bailey, the Lady Mayoress Mrs Bailey and guests.
